It’s that time again and now we are in the toddler years! Last year I shared my Holiday Gift Guide for my baby and I can’t believe she’s a toddler now! Christmas not only gives me all the feels because it’s a magical time of year, but December is also my daughter’s birthday month! I am anticipating a lot of waterworks this year as she turns 2! However, I really do love this stage. The amount of development that happens from 1 to 2 is bizarre and so incredible!

In terms of toys and gifts, last year she didn’t understand the concept of gifts yet, and the toys were simple. This year, a lot more toys for learning and adventuring, plus she’s going to be SO EXCITED to open them!

  1. When I Pray For You Book – This is hands down the sweetest book ever. I love it and I have definitely cried while reading it.
  2. Push & Play Walker – We try to keep things wooden and practical in our house and this one is so cute and fun! It comes with a bunch of little games on the front, wooden shapes and holes to push them through and a little compartment in the back!
  3. Kitchen Helper – I can not recommend this enough! My daughter helps me cook when I want to keep her near. She climbs up to wash her hands after dinner. She has her lunch on it. She moves it around to grab her water or a snack that was left on the counter. The list is endless and it helps create so much independence! 10/10 recommeend!
  4. Lovevery Playkit Subscription – If you have not heard of Lovevery, they create stage-based play boxes that fit your childs age and development. The first year they offer every other month boxes and during the toddler stage its every 3 months! We persoanlly love their montessori inpired toys and my daughter loves reading the “Bedtime with Zoe” book!
  5. Animals – Is it just my toddler, or are all toddlers obsessed with animals? She is so in love with her animals, she plays with them everyday, everywhere! Not only does this help with pretend play, she has also gotten really good at standing them up without falling. Really great fine motor skills happening there!
  6. Melissa & Doug Cleaning Set / Toddler Vacuum – Want time to clean your house? Then buy this ASAP. My daughter loves to sweep and vacuum with me! And she has since she was 14 months old because of these awesome toys! Toddlers love to help, so it’s perfect!
  7. Books – This book is another awesome one my daughter loves! I linked my full book collection on Amazon for you to check out. My daughter is a reader, so we have lots of fun books on there for you to check out!
  8. Pikler Triangle – This one is on my Christmas List this year. I’ve heard you can start using Pikler Triangles at 6 months old! I didn’t know about them until recently so now I’m jumping on the bandwagon! The triangle and accessories are designed to help with balance control, creativity, motor skill development, and many other critical aspects of a child’s life!
  9. Musical Instruments – Every child needs some musical instruments. They are so fun! We have this set and love to dance and sing with them!
  10. Magnets / Animal Magnets – Another favorite! Who doesn’t love magnets more than a toddler discovering the world! The first set/link is for the ABC’s and 123’s Melissa and Doug Magnets and the second are the Animal Melissa and Doug!
  11. Rain Boots – Okay another favorite. haha. Sorry, I only share what we absoluelty LOVE! The moment my mom got these for our daughtet, she wore them everyday, for like 2 weeks! The fact that our daughter could use the top circles to pull the shoes up was a GAME CHANGER for her! So if you want to create some fun independace for your toddler, try out these boots! They also come in different colors.
  12. Doll – The Adora Doll…the only one that didn’t scare me. 😆 If you are looking for a cute doll for our child that doesn’t scare you – here it is! haha
  13. Puzzles – Another favorite that is actually pretty challanging and fun!
