It’s almost Mother’s Day again and I am so excited about it! I love being able to celebrate my mom! She is absolutely amazing! (not to be biassed or anything haha)
This is also my SECOND mothers day. Holy Cow, time is flying. Last year I cried on Mothers Day. I’m a crier. It was just so special to be a mom, I just could not hold in my emotions. It was such a sweet day.
On my first Mother’s day, I didn’t really know what I wanted as a gift. I had been a mom for about 4/5 months and at that point, I was still soaking up all the sweet moments. Eva (my daughter) is a super easy-going baby, so – at the time – I didn’t care for a break or anything special for that day. Being with my family was enough.
FAST FORWARD TO A BEING A TODDLER MOM
My daughter is now 16 months old, and I still work from home and am a stay-at-home mom. Plus, a global pandemic has kept us inside for a stressful amount of time…and I’m slowly dying on the inside. Just kidding, I’m being dramatic, haha. But this year, I know a few things I would like as a mom. Easy going baby or not, toddlers are wild!
Here are some things, I feel, toddler moms need on Mothers Day.
1. CORDLESS VACUUM
You will NOT regret buying your boo thang this vacuum cleaner. Coming from someone who has hated cleaning her entire life, I fell in love with cordless vacuums! What a game changer! It makes my life 10x easier with the endless amount of crumbs everywhere. Plus allows me to clean more often because I don’t have to carry a big vacuum with a cord everywhere!
This one is pretty pricey (The Dyson V11) so I will list a few others that are still great but more budget friendly.
- DYSON V8 ANIMAL CORDLESS STICK VACUUM
- MOOSOO Cordless Vacuum 4 in 1
- Shark Cordless Pet Pro Stick Vacuum
- Hoover ONEPWR Blade+
2. KEURIG
Okay, I know. It’s the 21st century. Everyone and their dog should have a coffee machine, but if you happen NOT to – this a good option – so my husband says. I’m not a coffee drinker. I just can’t. It just flows on through me and no one wants that while taking care of a toddler. TMI…probably.
3. WATERBOTTLE & LIQUID IV
If you haven’t heard of Liquid IV yet, let me tell you, it is AMAZING! Especially, as a mom! The simple task of getting water and drinking it all is hard. Both my husband and I can agree on that! His coffee gets cold, while my water stays in my cup until nap time…or worse, the end of the day!
Liquid IV brings flavor to your water while also multiplying your one cup into 3. Science! You can check out how on their website. It’s pretty cool! This company is really helping moms stay hydrated all day long! I do have a code with them BRITTANIALEXANDRA25 for 25% off + Free Shipping. They also have cute water bottles on their websites. However, if you are looking for a non-Liquid IV water bottle, I have linked some of my favorites below!
- Giotto Large 1 Gallon Motivational Water Bottle
- Simple Modern 32 oz Stainless Steel
- Hydro Flask Water Bottle
4. MASSAGE
Not JUST a massagER but an actual, leave your house, take your clothes off, all the essential oils, relax worry-free massage! A momma needs that! You can also get her a massager. As that is still a very helpful amazing gift. But fork out some money, and make arrangements for that toddler momma to get an actual massage. ❤️
5. SLEEP
That doesn’t need to a description. If you know a toddler mom or you are a toddler mom…you just know.
6. LUXURY BED SHEETS & SLEEP MASK
Nothing makes me feel more pampered and relaxed than silk bed sheets and a sleep mask. I mean, as a parent, you’re bound to get up in the middle of the night at some point. So you might as well sleep in luxury and pretend this is going to be the best sleep of your life. And hey husbands, if you are reading this, take one for the team and get your booty up if baby calls!
6. COMFY HOUSE SHOES
Maybe it’s just me…but my feet always hurt by the end of the day. I walk around our hardwood floors to do laundry, dishes, make meals, find my daughter, etc. By the afternoon my feet already need a good massage. And since that can happen in the middle of the day (since my husband is at work…haha) comfy shoes are the answer! You can stand on a cloud while also doing dishes! It’s not the best picture of luxury…but maybe its as close as a mom can get on an average day!
